With Rick Santorum’s suspension of his presidential campaign on Tuesday, we can safely say the path to November is a done deal. Mitt Romney, with a strong organization and an insurmountable delegate lead will win the GOP nomination. This is good news!
After a very drawn out and sometimes nasty primary battle, it is time for Republicans to unite behind Mitt Romney. Barack Obama must be a one-term president come November. Real Conservative hereby endorses Mitt Romney for the GOP nomination.
The battle for the White House will not be easy, as President Obama continues to soak his billionaire friends for cash- Republicans must unite behind our party’s nominee. We cannot afford four more years! Please join me today in throwing your support behind Governor Romney. This is the biggest election of our lifetime yet, we cannot afford to lose!

Very interesting read courtesy of Anthony Kim from the Heritage Foundation.
“No man with a genius for legislation has appeared in America. They are rare in the history of the world. There are orators, politicians, and eloquent men, by the thousand; but the speaker has not yet opened his mouth to speak who is capable of settling the much-vexed questions of the day.” -Henry David Thoreau
“Being a fiscal conservative is not about slashing programs that help the poor, or improve health care, or ensure a social safety net. It’s about insisting services are provided efficiently, get to only the people that need them, and achieve the desired results. Fiscal conservatives have hearts too - but we also insist on using our brains, and that means demanding results and holding government accountable for producing them. To me, fiscal conservatism means balancing budgets - not running deficits that the next generation can’t afford. It means improving the efficiency of delivering services by finding innovative ways to do more with less. It means cutting taxes when possible and prudent to do so, raising them overall only when necessary to balance the budget, and only in combination with spending cuts. It means when you run a surplus, you save it; you don’t squander it. And most importantly, being a fiscal conservative means preparing for the inevitable economic downturns - and by all indications, we’ve got one coming.”
In the midst of a 15 trillion dollar debt and failing super committees, prospects might look bleak. With people “occupying” every city in the U.S. and massive political division, optimism could be sparse. And while people speak of the 99 percent and the 1 percent, they forget one thing- we are all 100 percent American. Today we unite in a celebration of not just our great nation. We unite in a common belief, that we all are thankful for and believe in life, liberty, and the ultimate pursuit of happiness.

American Exceptionalism- the theory that the United States is qualitatively different from other countries. In this view, America’s exceptionalism stems from its emergence from a revolution, becoming “the first new nation,” and developing a uniquely American ideology, based on liberty, egalitarianism, individualism, populism and laissez-faire.
